I am unable to use my Logitech usb keyboard in the rear ports of my SB61G2 in WinXP.
I can use it when i connect it to the front USB but not the rear ports. The keyboard works in the rear port when i boot and go into the BIOS but not when it goes into WinXP.
Any suggestions or comments that may help? I can use the USB 2 PS2 adapter and it works, but Im looking for a solution other than using an adapter or connecting it to the front ports.
Is my Shuttle fizzled up? Ami I the only one? Is this normal?

Any help is welcome...

Problem solved! :)
It was WinXP... (go figure)

I basically connected the keyboard to the front port and booted into WinXP. I went to the device manager in the System icon in the Control Panel and clicked on the Keyboard device icon. I connected the keyboard into the rear USB port and used the mouse to scan for hardware changes. All was well afterwards.
Thanks for the replies :)

Edit:
I also found out that in the device manager that WinXP will turn off your ports to save power.
Changing to keep the ports active should keep them recognizing hardware changes.
