How it works:
1. Click on the icon below and select the item(s) you want to trade in
2. Enter your shipping information and print out your postage-paid return label from CeXchange
3. Receive your discount code for 20% off immediately - you can use it towards any new product on Logitech.com
4. Pack your old product and send it in.


What do we do with the trade-ins?
CeXchange, our recycling partner, provides a service that meets the highest environmental standards. When possible they will refurbish the products so they can be repurposed and reused. For items where that is not possible they will be recycled in accordance with all state and federal environmental regulations.

Conditions:
This program only applies to Logitech products.
It is currently valid for private individuals living in the U.S.
This offer can be changed or discontinued at any time.
This offer does not replace any of the on-going recycling and environmental compliance initiatives in which Logitech participates
 
So this is 20 percent off, no matter what you trade in?


I just ran through the steps on the website and here's what it does:
The website allows you to select a quantity to be traded in for several products and then it gives you a prepaid shipping label. The FAQ shows several levels of condition, but the forms never ask you about the condition of the trade-in's. It also seems to send the code immediately via email, which is obviously before you send the trade-in products. If you don't send the trade-in's, I cant see how they can revoke the discount.

Overall a very odd "trade-in" discount.

I am not entirely sure how it works myself because I do not need anything nor do I have anything to trade in but I could see this being very hot for individuals that always buy logitech.

You get a "postage paid" return label. So that part of the deal is pretty nice.

That said, I can find everything they have on their site at *least* 20% off elsewhere. That part of the deal isn't so hot. I think this would need to be upwards of 40-50% off to be hot.

I wonder whether the 20% off works on their dented box deals. That would be hot.

I wouldnt say its hot but if you like logitech stuff and have buying it over the years and want to upgrade to their newer stuff this is pretty nice. Plus its green!!!! lol

I agree. All of my Logitech purchases have been for 40 percent off or more.
 
it would possibly stack with their dented box items, which would make it hot. There have been several stackable coupons with those things in the past. Looks like some people have done it already, please report back on whether it stacks with the coupons for their 'dented box' items.

EDIT: just found it doesn't stack, and only works on certain items. I got a coupon code through the trade-in program and tried it myself =[
