always nice to have more options in the market, but i'll stick with my filcos 😀

just got a daskeyboard with mxbrowns last month so I'll have to pass. good to have more options as always

Yeah, don't see any reason to get this over a das keyboard, really - but I don't use macros. But it's great to see mechanical keyboards making a comeback.

Same here! I love it - my girlfriend hates the sound. Haha. 🙂

haha mine too. what does she say when you tell her you got this one because its QUIET?

also after my last mouse/kb combo from logitech i can say im never buying anything from them ever again....the keyboard had connection issues even with the receiver 2 feet away....and there was crappy laser tracking on the mouse....the only good thing about the set was the batteries lasted 6+ months of heavy usage before replacement.

that and i bought a universal remote from them that was just god awful. if you looked at it the wrong way the batteries lost connection thus resetting the remote requiring it to be completely reprogrammed.

I've got their most recent generation remote (touchscreen, no RF support) and beyond the batteries only lasting a few days off the cradle, it's great for me. No issues beyond battery life, for me.

That looks nice, but i'll stick with my K90 for sure. For that price there should be a screen or 3 on that thing.

Looks far too empty for that price range. Also, it's about time they have a (hopefully) decent keyboard.

looks about right for a mechanical board and seems to have just many features if not more when compared to competitors like the Corsair K90 and Razer Blackwidow

that being said I think all those boards are too big and frivolous for most gaming and would much rather see more tenkeyless/compact options

This is the best KB on earth came out in 2006.

The razer logo on the hand rest keeps glowing it goes down then becomes blue bright then goes down again like the Lachesis or Copperhead mouse.

Anandtech's verdict is out. The K90 still rules. The jury has spoken. K90 is the best damn gaming keyboard on earth and will remain so. I am surprised that Logitech didn't win my heart back here. I have been a die hard Logitech fan for many years, never considering a keyboard from anyone else. That all changed with the epic K90. The clouds have parted and the K90 was the light that shined through.

The K90 has cut so many corners it still uses membrane switches on some keys. While the best switch type is highly debatable, I think we can all agree the K90 isn't among the elite no matter what type of switch it uses.

Funnily enough, she worked on my machine with Illustrator over the weekend. She loves using it, "so oldschool". Asked if it would work on her Mac too 🙂

Yeah, I had a Logitech KB before and I wont do that again, but I will hold on to my G400 mouse. It is great.

It's not that bad. ~99% of your interactions with the keyboard are with cherry MX reds, not membranes.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I've been looking for a replacement for my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, and wanted to go back to Logitech for numerous reasons, but they never had a mechanical keyboard before.

Going to see if I can find one locally and try it out first, but I've never had buyers remorse with Logitech (can't say the same for Razer).

You're welcome!

So Logitech has now released their first board ever where key feel doesn't suck. 🙂

The looks are unusually hideous.

Props for not making Razer's mistake of launching their first mech board with 2KRO.
