I have this cam at home. It's great. Works perfectly in Skype & Yahoo Messenger. I think I paid like $80 for mine when it came out.

I have this cam and it was working great for a while but then when i installed it on my laptop or another pc it kept crash my entire system and I would have to restart. I still haven't found a solution to that. Not sure if I would recommend it.

Just a heads up you can get the camera as a refurb from Justdeals for $49.95 shipped no rebate with a free headset and a 30 day warranty.

They also have that Ultra Vision HD one here for $99.95 refurb, with free ship and 30 day warranty too.

Or you can also get the regular Quick cam 1.3mp with/Mic for $21.95 as well.

No worry with a rebate and you get the free headset as well, just throwing out another option to go for the peoples there op

I notice the penguin... Do you mean it crashed in Windows or Linux? I don't know what version of the Logitech driver you have but there was a newer version on their website than the one that came with my cam.

I read Tom's review and went to check on the Ultravision at Amazon. Dumbbell curve response, lots of lovers and haters. Drivers sound like a tossup.

I have a quick cam 4000 which i love (other than the base to hold the camera sucks) but damn logitech will not make vista drivers for this thing.

Thats a good price, just remember the one I have is shipped so factor that is with the one from geeks what that may come out to as in the end shipped price. If I wasnt so tired I would see but Im on my way to bed, so I will check tomorrow if someone doesnt get to it before me.

Oh my lord this guy has good reviews on webcams but if you read what the guy is about....its the "gay cowboy ring" OMG....LOL
