I heard about declining quality of Logitech products. I've got a Logitech MX Master mouse going strong on close to 2 years now. I'm happy. Just don't use the side wheel. Love the middle wheel with the clutch. Hate using other mice now.

I forgot to mention that I use a V220 as a backup mouse when my MX Master needs recharging. I also have a Cordless MouseMan Optical that is 16 years old and still works great.

Can't write about recent offerings, but both my G5 and G9 are still going strong; both are at least 5 years old (if not older).

I have to admit on my current Razer setup, I had a bad key on my BW Ultimate, the scroll click failed on my DeathAdder, and the glue is coming undone on my Orbweaver wrist rest and Vespula mouse pad (edges). However, Razer did replace the BW and DA under warranty, and pretty swiftly.

^Yup, my G5 mouse has been going strong since 2005, I eventually ended up replacing it since I wanted something more ergonomic, so I went with the G502 Proteus Spectrum, which I love. I would never pay the ~$80 MSRP for it, but it was a good buy @ $50 from Amazon,

Their keyboards are a whole different story. I bought a Logitech gaming keyboard in 2005 and it only lasted a couple of years, which was pretty lame. I bought a K800 wireless keyboard last year, and while there I haven't ran into any defects, I just don't like the build quality nor the feel (although I'm aware that it's designed to feel somewhere between a laptop keyboard and a regular membrane keyboard).

I feel as if a Daskeyboard Model S with MX switches + G502 combo would suit me rather well both for typing and gaming.

I used to have a G5 (the obviously superior blue/black one), but the cable got frayed too badly and I trashed it like 8 years ago. Too bad I didn't know at the time you could buy replacement cables. I was using Performance MX and Anywhere MXs, but the quality is shit so I've had like 4 or 5 since then and they've all gotten the same left click turns into a double left click issue. That, and the form factor on all of them suck hard. Finally, I got sick of it and, luckily, found a G5 on Ebay for like $40 in very good condition about 6 months ago and have been using it ever since.

I also picked up an MX Master at the same time and used it once. I never really tried it due to the G5 being so fucking awesome. Now that I'm about to restart my coding project hobbies, I'm about to give the MX Master a real try because the scrolling is so nice for coding. I had also picked up a G502, but it was trash; the scroll wheel was fucked up out of the box, and the extra parts of the button on the left side make the side buttons unusable.

Seriously, fuck Logitech. The G5 blue/black model is the best mouse form factor ever. If it had an infinite scroll wheel option with no other changes other than maybe a toggle button for infinite scrolling below the DPI settings, it would be perfect, but I'll have to settle for nearly-perfect because it fits so well. I don't need a fuckton of shitty ass buttons and wheels on the sides of my mice that I will never use. Even if they made these again with shittier quality (ie: like every mouse they've made since they've stopped making the G5) where they broke every 6 months, I'd shell it out for the perfect form factor and they'd bank.

my Logitech M510 is what I use for work. You would have to kill me to get my mouse.... I kinda sorta love it.

Home/gaming is different.

My MX1000 mouse lasted a decade before the left button stopped working. I had to take apart the mouse and clean the scroll wheel once every few years. But aside from that, it's served me incredibly well. Logitech's service is top notch. I got the MX1000 for free from them when my MX700 was making clicking noises while charging.

My current G602 mouse isn't working as well. The side button often repeats many times with a single click.
Hey this might sound weird but my anywhere mx 2 developed the multi click issue and what seems to help is a hard reset. For the MX, this is done by removing the batteries and clicking both buttons at least 30 times. Inserting the batteries, the mouse flips out for a bit and then finds its senses and works normally. I think ultimately ill have to pad the switch though. If the 602 is a lithium non removable battery, nevermind :D

Oh bonus, omron mod for trackman!

G502 is a great mouse, just wish the scroll wheel was a bit smaller. The sensor and switches are fantastic.

The mouse has been awesome. The G910 Keyboard is gorgeous, The lighting is awesome and I like the volume and play controls. The action is nice, but the key shape is odd. I feel I have more typos with this keyboard than my last cheap Ankerr.

I bought a Logitech G910 Keyboard and a G502 Mouse last March.

These fuckers better last me a few years

Just got the G502 at Christmas this year. Perfect replacement for my MX510... which by the way... I can't even trace how far back I got that mouse. Fucking awesome mouse, but for some reason the scroll wheel started sucking. Instead of scrolling up 10 lines like it should it would only do 2. Tried adjusting the settings but after testing it a bunch of times I just determined it was starting to go.

I still have two Logitech MX700 mouse/keyboard combo's I'm still using everyday. I don't think I've ever used any electronics items longer than those.

I'm still bitter about them cancelling the TrackMan Marble FX:

Cool I just tried it. Hopefully that'll be the end of it!

My G700's scroll lock just up and broke on me after ~4 years. One second I'm scrolling and getting that nice clicking and the next the wheel is spinning free. I'm not spending another $100 on a mouse though. Just taped the lock down and works fine. Still pretty disappointing though.
