Just picked up the new mouse for myself.
I have a glass table in my office, and my current mouse pad was starting to show its age. I have been using the MX Revolution for general use and MS Sidewinder Gaming Mouse for FPS games. I thought about buying a $40 gaming pad, but then I figured, why not buy a new mouse for $90 that works on glass?
The Dark Field works. I have zero tracking issue with my glass office table with polished top surface, and frosted bottom surface.
As for the mouse itself, it is slightly larger than the MX Revolution. It sits off higher from the table, and it feels a little wider as well. I do miss the 2nd scroll wheel from the Revolution, but but the over all form factor feels better for my hand.
Just wanted to share my experience with the new toy.
