Buy.com has the Logitech Dexxa mouse (cool blue light instead of red) for $20.49 + shipping. Pretty good price. Logitech must be discontinuing this model as it seems like it went down from $49.99 to around $29.99 almost everywhere.

CAUTION: there is a HUGE difference in quality and technical support between Dexxa and Logitech.

I bought a couple of wheel mice, which died within 6 months. Tried contacting Dexxa - nothing on their web page (other than product registration) and no public phone numbers. Contacted Logitech, who claims they have NOTHING to do with Dexxa.

Hmmm...the box says "Logitech" all over it. It has their name, they have to support it.

Well, that particular info page says nothing about Logitech. No picture either. Personally I think it would be of a more Kensington-type of optical mouse. Anyone have one?

I seen the logitech mice around but I remember it uses a red light. Maybe I am confusing that w/ the red blinker (a light in the container powered by a small lithium battery seperate from the mouse) that they use to attract/annoy people.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why does this have anything to do with Logitech?

The link is to a Dexxa mouse at Buy.com. The page does not mention the word Logitech anywhere. You said that "The box says Logitech all over it"... did you order one? - because there's no picture of the box on the page.

Just wondering....

I have *NOT* verified this information to be true. I am merely making the information available. Follow up on this if you are interested.

This may not apply any longer, but according to its registration with Network Solutions, there is a connection with www.dexxa.net and www.logitech.com

Also note, that the name and telephone listed below are most probably *NOT* a customer service or technical support representative, so if you do call this person, don't ask for customer service or technical support, ask to speak to the operator to be connected to someone who can tell you about what their connection to Dexxa is, or what it was if it is no longer.

It says Manufacturer: Logitech
