I doubt the mouse will be 100 on the logitech site it says the mx700 is still 70... many can be found for less easy I have never seen an acurate priceing on the logitch site they are always WAY above what there products actually sell for just check out and of there other products there all way above what u can find them for at retail or online.

A MX500 with a USB to PS2 Adapter can hit 200

MS' Bluetooth combo didn't have a fast enough refresh rate for me when I tested it. I detested the Bluetooth mouse, and it's sitting in my file cabinet collecting dust. I hope Logitech did a better job, or my MX700 will happily continue to be used.

Isn't it true that blue tooth screws up 802.11b? and other 2.4ghz stuff? I was thinking about getting this once its out to replace my aging MS intelli mouse. maybe not if it migh tscrew up my notebook =(

But your missing the fact that the MX700 is limited to 125hz cos of its RF technology in it. That and the fact that over 125hz is pretty pointless and is more of a statistic.

I want a bluetooth mouse, but I don't need the hub!
A bluetooth printer and scanner & digital camera would be mega sweet as well.

I'm hard pressed to spend $20 on a keyboard - looking at one of those flexible things at SVC. I am used to getting newish keyboards for around $6. They seem to work just fine.
My Logitech Dual Optical does the trick for me right now, and it was only around $40 if I remember correctly.

You aren't missing anything, there are no advantages with this mouse over an MX700 for you, assuming you don't already own or plan to own a bunch of other bluetooth capable devices. Really, the big thing about this is the built in hub for bluetooth.

Exactly. Don't expect too much out of it. It won't perform as fast as MX700, but the new Bluetooth hub makes it that much easier to communicate with other Bluetooth devices (if you have any). Not a replacement of MX700, but rather filling market segment.
