Logitech mx700 mouse charging question

Got the MX Duo for New Year. I luv it. Just have couple of questions about charging the mouse:
1. How many hours does the first charge require. Will overnight be enough?
2. Secondly as I popped in the new chargable batteries the computer was showing the battery level as 'good'. So, does it mean that the batteries are pre-charged OR did I get a used box???
I'd appreciate if someone would shed some light on these issues.

Old post, but I'll answer anyway.

Mine came precharged as well. Logitech wants users to be able to use the item right out of the box. Wouldnt it be a bummer to get your new MX Duo and have to wait overnight for it to charge?
