Question: Since the wireless runs at 2.4GHz, anyone use this mouse either near a wireless network, or with a laptop connected wirelessly? I'm wondering if there is any/much interference. If not, I want to jump all overthis.

I don't think it's a problem. You can probably just change channels on your wireless router if there is any interference?

It's super hot. I got it for $35.99 with $20MIR since they sent me a 10% coupon a few days ago. This is the first smart mouse in the world. Don't worry about connection, the mouse is smart enough to find channel that has no noise. This mouse is for office use, not for gaming though.

Yes, if you read the reviews (of which there are plenty on the web) you'll know
that often times there's a delay between MX610 move and a cursor move.
Also the fancy light only work with Outlook (and most people around here
probably use other mailers) ...

when i use it with my laptop's wireless g, there is some interference if the traffic is heavy. it doesn't interfere with other wireless mouse though. if you plan on downloading a lot of stuff all the time, then i wouldn't recommend it. but if you're just surfing and you want a mouse, then it's absolutely fine.

i can't tell you about the battery life yet, but its been about a month and i'm still going on regular duracells.

I got this mouse at BB around Christmas and use it at work. I haven't replaced the batteries yet. I love the mouse, I don't notice any delay and I like that the buttons can be programmed to do what you want. (I made the IM button lock my computer.)

Logitech's 5 year warranty is absolutely fantastic also. They've replace a few wireless keyboards and mice for me ... never any hassle. Great customer service. Highly recommend Logitech just for that warranty.

Nice price for a good ergonomic mouse. I have the "old" MX500, which is an optical wired mouse. It works great, and personally I don't see any reason to go to a laser nor a wireless mouse. My mouse is as precise as I need and no worrying about charging it up.

Good find for those that are looking for laser/wireless.

I agree. Sometimes it seems just "woke-up", slightly delay. Strange enough, it only happens to one computer, it works fine on my other three computers.

depends on the router.

I tried this mouse with dlink 624 which runs at 108mb only on channel 6. i had to change channel id to 4 and drop down to 54g.

other than that its a great mouse.

Maybe it does not consume too much energy but I do not wanna buy extra batteries...

if this mouse is like Microsoft's Wireless Intellimouse Explorer, you won't have to change the batteries for months. You can still use rechargeable batteries, though.
