it is a gaming mouse isn't it? it seems to be slower than my logitech elite duo mouse?
i didn't install software, i am using the windows native driver for a mouse.

do you think installing the software on the CD would fix the problem?

I installed mine with the software and it rocks. I used to use the Logitech dual optical but the mx510 rocks that old P.O.S.

yes, you need to install the drivers on the cd, i think the mouse is amazing, i'm fixing to buy a new one because the one i have is already worn out =(

What do you mean by 'slow?' You're not thinking of mouse sensitivity setting in the game, are you?

its slow or fast as u want it to be... if u install the driver:p oh leave the "game detection" feature off.. it just trips off all the time.

just installed the driver and the mouse works like a dream. thanks guys, i couldn't imagine the driver making such a big impact. i never installed drivers for mice!
