This is my first ever mx mouse

I initially set it up as a ps2 connection as per instruction leaflet

Iinstalled drivers from cd
I need some advice on best settings for playing Q3 and other similar pc games

Curser speed and accel
Im using mid speed and low accel + zero accel for games

ps2 Report rate

what should I set this to

it has a slider which goes up to 200

Under advanced settings for the mouse in device manager

what should I set input buffer to

should I enable fast initialisation


I have been told that its probably better to use the usb connection

Would this be better than the ps2 connection

In my opinion, disabling acceleration in games is not a good idea for FPS as it slows down the mouse a lot. Everything else you have to tinker around and see which suits you best.
