Logitech MX510 mouse wheel problem!?

I have a problem with my MX510 mouse. The scroll wheel seems to be non-responsive at times. I've noticed it when scrolling web pages and in games when I want to change weapons. In games it sometimes takes 3-4 clicks (rotations) of the wheel before the weapon will change to the next one. I have tried changing the wheel setting to 1 line, 3 lines, 6 lines in the 9.8ver of the mouse driver software but makes no improvement. I have it connected via usb port. I've read some talk about adjusting the "mouse wheel sensitivity" but I dont know where this is.

Anyone had this problem?

Mouseware installed? If so adjust accordingly. If not then install it, you are missing out on the performance of this mouse if you dont use the software that goes with it.

If you already have it installed then id say try resinstalling the software , uninstall /reinstall the mouse.

If this does not work then RMA it.

Yes Mouseware 9.8 is installed (clean install on new computer) and I have tried adjusting settings.

What is RMA?

Check your scroll settings (1-3-6-screen-none) on the BUTTONS tab in MouseWare. If set to "none" the scroll function is turned off.
