Logitech MX510 $10 AR

I bought one of these with a mail in rebate last June. Haven't recieved my rebate from logitech yet...kinda makes me a little disappointed in them. It was only for $10 but its the fact that they didn't hold up to their word.

And did you call them to let them know you didn't receive it? It's your job to track your rebate and make sure you get it. Things can happen, mail gets lost, they misplace your rebate, you write the wrong address, whatever. But if you don't let them know and then keep calling until you get it, then it's your own fault.

not really comparable anyways. mx1000 is nice and wireless...and laser. mx510 while nicer then most mice still around is being dumped because they are coming out with the all laser line...
 
Logitech rebate is not the fastest rebate but you will get it back sooner or later.
I have had experience with Logitech rebate many times and I got everyone back as expected.

Good deal. Hate rebates though.

I only go through rebates that you can do on-line (like Staples).

It's been 16+ weeks and counting for my Logitech 510 from compusa and rebate from expressgroup back in May. It is listed on their site as validated but they will not send it to me. I have called them several times. Rebate form says 6-12 weeks. After 12 weeks I call and they tell me add 2 weeks for them to receive and add to their database. After 14 weeks I call and they say 14 weeks does not include weekends! (WTF!). Then they tell me it's taking longer to process these rebates because of, you guessed it, "the overwhleming response to this offer." More BS. When I contact Logitech they just refer me back to expressgroup.

 
Don't bother I went in store and bought it but they said the website sells for a different price than in-store. It's $19.99 AR (minus the tax) unless your order it online, so you get dinged for the shipping. Since I didn't realize this until I got home (doh!), but the mouse is sweet so I'm not driving back to return it.

It's OOS online, hence the reason it is now available in-store only.
 
You just have to goto the store with a printout from the site that says "in store only" and argue a little

went with friends and they got 2 of em. At first rang up as 39.99, but we managed to use a computer and a sales guy printed out a copy of the online page for us (he was nice lol), and when we showed them that, just took 5 more min to "talk to the manager" and we were good @ 29.99 before mir

Nah, MX1000 and MX510 are two different products. The mx500 was a successful mouse for gamers, so they took that route and the MX510 and it's newer brethren MX518 are made to game. MX1000 is crap for games (technically speaking).
 
I went to Compusa on Sunday and the in-store price still $19.99 AR and they told me that was a system error 🙁 then I come back today and I just get it, however the price turn down to $9.99 AR 😛 . Zipcode 98005
 
Yes, back in stock online, however shipping and tax add another $7, so the price after rebate comes out to $17 and you gotta wait for rebate. Not that hot if you don't need another mouse. If it was penny shipping I would have snatched it, otherwise I'm gonna pass. Already have loads of "spare" mice.
