logitech mx310 mouse problem. middle mouse button crashes game

k i use the middle mouse(on mx310) button to talk in vent. and ever since i updated my video card driver (got a new card) every time i press the middle mouse button that scrollinn arrow thing pops up and the game crashes.. i reinstalled mouseware a million times and tried using windows drivers but i cant use my side buttons. IT USED TO WORK RIGHT!......now im going crazy!!.
