Logitech MX300

I just got a Logitech MX300 mouse, and wondering if other people who have it know if the laser on the bottom dims when it's idle. Other optical mouses usually do, and my MX300 doesn't, just wondering if it was just made that way or if it's a defect...

Ditto...looking at the bottom of my now and the red light stays on constantly.

None of the MX mice except the cordless ones ever dim to my knowledge, (coming from an owner of an MX300 and MX500)

Ha ha ha, a bunch of dorks starring at thier mouses watching to see if it dims without moving it.

My MX300 completely turns off in suspend mode probably cause of the power management settings in the BIOS or the +5V USB port jumper settings on my MB.

When it was set to +5VSB (which supposedly requires more power) the light stays on during suspend.

In my case it was the USB jumper settings or the combination of both the USB port jumper settings and the BIOS power management settings.
