Hey guys,

I was at Best Buy today shopping for a new mouse as my MX1000 was dying and I happened to notice this deal. Didn't notice it posted here so I apologize if it was and I missed it. Here is the link.

I do not like wireless mice for gaming. Just hate that Murphy's clause will be invoked right when I'm trying to get that last kill. "It will work until you need it to work."

This is a great mouse. I use it at work. Very, very comfortable. Charging is not a problem - just needs a charge once a week or so. That scroll wheel mechanism is very, very cool and useful.

I have used it on FPSs, and have had no problems. But then, I pretty much suck at playing them, so I might not notice the difference.

Oh, and that price is $10 cheaper than I paid for my first one of these - refurbished. The 2nd was $20 more (new with no rebate).

You can also price match this at Circuit City and they'll drop it to about $36 after tax. I'm tempted to pull the trigger.

still charging.

Meh. if I dont like it I can return it.

Let us know how it is. I'm not much of a FPS gamer, but as long as you can use the extra buttons in games I'm fine with it.

I love my MX1000 for FPS's- I'm by no means a competitive online player, though.

I use this mouse, I wish it had better battery life on it though. Sometimes I forget to dock it in the charger~ ^_^

Hey, it's a good deal. Not all of us require a gaming mouse. Probably only crucial for the avid FPS fan.

this is a badass mouse, I get a lot of compliments because people like the docking station charging no disposable batteries thingy.

I use it in CS, i do fine. It sleeps after inactivity, which is the only time u might die, but why u standing still for that long anyways?

Just picked one up myself last night. Odd thing was that I almost impulse-bought one last week, and now am glad I didn't since this is a lot cheaper.

What size is the wireless dongle for these? Is it one of the long "stick" ones or the little rounded tab that barely juts out from the USB port?

Just bought one last night as an impulse buy (already have a MX518 I love) with a gift card I had.

The wireless dongle is the long "stick" kind, not the cool new little nubs on the VX Revolution/Nano's
