I've been experimenting with my Logitech MX DUO, trying to get it to work when plugged into an IOGear KVM. On many forums and faq's I've heard a lot of bad reviews about the MX DUO not being able to work when plugged into a KVM. One of the main problems (which is the only one I faced) is that a lot of the special features (the iNav Buttons both on the keyboard, and the forward/back and quickmenu button on the ouse) do not work.

What I discovered so far is that Win2k wants to see a live signal from the keyboard so that it can identify it, in turn the iTouch software can recognize that it is a Logitech Keyboard instaed of any normal 102 key thingie. (this is a hunch)..

So I decided to put this hunch to a test... and powered up my computer w/o touching the keyboard.
The result: the iNav keys don'w work... just normal keboard functions.

I then, from powered down state, tapped a few keys on the keyboard before powering up my computer. And Viola! The Keyboard had all its functions!

I haven't tested this with the mouse yet.

Has anybody had similar problems or solutions?
