Logitech MX Air Mouse (Your Opinion)?

Hey Guys, I was getting ready to get me a new mouse for my new system that I am building. I am a BIG fan of Logitech Products. I was about to get the Logitech MX Revolution Mouse, but then I ran into the Logitech's Breaking New on there new Logitech MX Air Mouse. I really like the way it look and what it can do. I got some reviews from the web that I am gona go threw and of all the websites that I have visited, the mouse got 8.5 out of 10, which in my opinion is good score.

The reason I am really interested in this mouse is because of what it can do. In Air or on Desk usage. I also bought the Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard and I think getting the MX Air will be a good Combination. So if you guys can share your opinion on this new mouse, it would really help me out. With your help, I can make my decision. Just to let you guys know I am not planning to use this mouse to play games. I have other things to take care of that. So help me out guys.

THX!

Yes it is, but seeing that Logitech has this market in there hand, the MX Air will do a better job then the Mice from Gyration. This is just my opinion.

Thx for the input!

the gyrations, from what i hear, are not fast or accurate enough for fps games. is the logitech designed to do that? it sure is priced to!!!

Haha my roomate got it as a present. I lifted it up and used it to play BF2142. Couldnt aim for shit.

But its very nice for HTPCs that are connected to LCD TVs. You dont need any surface since you can just lift, point and click.

The only gripe i have with MX air is the price. 150$ is too much for a mouse.

Got to try one out today. It was just as accurate as the last gyration unit I used. Not good enough for fps games. Oh and Gyration has been making stuff like this so I would say that Gyration has this market in their hand. AFAIK, this is Logitech's first "air mouse".

wha? i thought this logitech mouse was some sort of high-end device. $150!! holy shit that thing better walk over to the tv and change dvd's for me. i just paid $35 for a used set of gyration mouse/keyboard combo. pay attention, kids- dont spend $150 on a freakin mouse!
