Logitech mouse issue.

I have a Logitech Performance Mouse MX. When i scroll down on long web pages it seems to scroll down a few lines, etc. and then back up and then down . Kinda like it's shaking back and forth.

And on something like google maps when I get to the end of the mouse pad and have to lift up the mouse it zooms out or in. Very frustrating when I'm trying to pan around and find things.

Not sure if the two things are driver related or what. I just saw they have a newer driver so I will try it but curious if anyone else has similar issues.

The new driver could help - also, go to Control Panel and the mouse, and play with the scroll wheel settings.

Have you have this issue before or the mouse has been acting like this from day 1 ? If the mouse was fine before and this is something you just recently experienced, then may be the batteries are weak and need to be replaced.

New driver didn't help.

I'll take a look at the settings but I know it's set to scroll only 3 lines.

Doc- I think the scrolling issue is ongoing from when I built this P67 system. So, about a month or so, maybe a little more.

The google maps issue, I don't know because I've only gone there in the last few days.

But it's weird. If I'm on a page and am not even scrolling and I pick up the mouse, it scrolls a bit.

wait so on smooth scroll it is behaving as if it were "rolling back" after you let go?
look closely at the wheel spinning, does it roll back by itself as if it has a heavier spot, I had an mx1100 that did that, its wheel was defective, and everytime i let go of it, the heavier spot would roll to the bottom🙁

on the other hand if you violently pick up the mouse each time you run out of mat you might move the wheel that way.
