I remember how much I loved my mx700 and mx1000 because I could, as I was standing to leave my desk, in one smooth motion, drop the mouse into the cradle on my desk, assured that when I next used it, it would be full charged.
Now I have "upgraded" to the supposedly top-of-the-line Performance MX. I saw that it was rechargeable (most wireless logitech mice these days require you replace with normal alkaline batteries), and so mistakenly assumed that it would come with a cradle as did the previous top-of-the-line Logitechs I had used.
Instead, now everytime I leave my desk I have to fiddle with finding and inserting the tiny little usb connector.
Additionally, I remember the mx700 used rechargeable batteries, but later mice used Li-ion battery packs. Why the step backward both in batteries and lack of cradle? 🙁
