My receiver on my cordless elite duo crapped out to the point where the mouse would only work if the receiver was 6 feet from it. After going through the usual tech support step with logitech, the sent me a brand new MX duo free of charge! All companies should provide this kind of service when their products fail. Just wanted to share.

I have the cordless freedom optical. I like the keyboard better than the new elite duo, even though the range isn't as good. How's the battery usage on those? My keyboard batteries last about 4-5 months on cheapo ones, and the mouse about 1 month with cheapo batteries (I got 80 of them from CompUSA awhile ago for $10, so I don't care).

XZeroII: The MX duo mouse has a chraging cradle so you dont have to worry about batteries. The keyboard goes for about 5-6 months, but I use rechargables batteries to avoid the cost.

I want that MX duo.. :(

I want a cordless keyboard to go with my MX700..

Wish they sold it seperately for current MX700 owners. :(

Logitech makes great mice and their warranty plan is awesome as well. I've had a couple trackballs die on me after extended use and they've sent me replacements free of charge. :D
