I bought this Logitech USB IR Mouse to replace my ailing ball mouse. Its a great mouse, love using it, except ever since I accidentally broke the pins on the USB to PS/2 adapter, I've been forced to use it in a USB port. Now, every few minutes, the mouse automatically scrolls to one of the corners of the screen at random. I never had this problem before using it in PS/2, is there a problem with my software drivers or do I just have bad USB ports?

3 possible solutions:

1)plug it into another USB port (or if you're using a hub, pulg it straight into the computer)

2)Check or update your USB drivers.

3)Buy another USB->PS2 adapter.
