How much can you customize this keyboard?

Very solid keyboard for the money. Too bad that I don't need another keyboard. If you're using a cheapie generic keyboard, by all means, buy this. It's a very nice keyboard.

this keyboard has a space CAR in it????!!!! that's a pretty damn good deal for 10 bux![]()
I didn't mean literally. I don't hammer things with my keyboard after all. I meant "solid" as in good. It's much better than the crap keyboards that you can usually buy for under $20. I bought one btw.. It's going to be replacing my generic keyboard that I use to set up systems with.Hmm, how "solid" is "solid"? In other words, how do you think it would compare against an IBM Trackpoint II keyboard? (My current, and favorite, keyboard to date. This thing is solid enough to break through brick walls with, if you had to.)

come on people IBM boards rule as far as stamina but they suck as far as software driver upkeep. If any of you have ever lifted one up they are twice as heavy as most other keyboards out there. I have one from win 98 era and it works great but extra keys no longer work because IBM will not make xp drivers for it. As far as logitech goes I like most of the mice they make but the keyboards no biggie they do not excite me at all. I stick with Microsoft whenever they go on sale I buy for the family and friends. Don't get excited now its Just My Opinion and I have been putting together systems for 20 years now. dang I am gettin old. I still have things to learn so if someone has facts out there that overcome my limited knowledge just let me know.![]()

This Logitech is excellent. The keys have a very precise feel, and the whole thing is very flat. The extra scroll wheel is surprisingly useful -- I use mine by combining it with my mouse scroll wheel for scrolling fast (through my newsgroup reader, Newsgrabber, if you want to know).
The cheap IBM O.Max has is generic, nothing more. It's not comparable to this Logitech.

I tried to buy a cheap IBM keyboard a while ago. I got one with sticky keys, so I exchanged it and the replacement had sticky keys as well, so I just returned it. QC sucks with those keyboards as far as I'm concerned. In my experience, Logitech has always made an excellent product for not a lot of money.i agree that IBM keyboards are the best. i love the feel of mine (don't get any perverted ideas).
