Logitech Harmony Remotes - Media Center PCs?

I'm not sure where to put this, so hopefully there are some media center pc users here. For Christmas I'm looking into getting my father a logitech harmony remote to control his media center pc (running winxp and the software that came with his tuner card), directtv pvr, dvd, and stero. I just don't know, which remotes will control the media functions of a PC? I know the 680, 880, and 890 can, but what about any others? Any thoughts on this or information is greatly appreciated.
 
Harmony is your best bet. I've had two and have loved them both (659 & 880). Nobody else makes them as good as Logitech does, imo.
