TigerDirect.com has the Logitech Harmony 659 remote online for $99.99. I called CC.com to get a price match, and they told me to print the page and take it to CC for in-store price match, just tell them they couldn't do it on the phone. I did that, got my $100 off, plus the $40 rebate, and used a $5 printable Sears coupon (the guy told me he really couldn't do that, but he did it anyway) and got my remote for $55 after rebate.
can anyone help me post the links? I tried, but no luck!!
 
This is what Ive been looking for ....a great deal on a 15 device remote...need to control my DLP ....thanks

This remote has been on my wish list for a while because of the USB connection and the ability to program it via my PC and download predefined codes from the web. Anyone had any experience with it and is it really a good functioning remote that will save me time in programming my boat load of electronics gear (Tivo, Replay TV, receiver, dvd player, vcd, tv, a/c, lights, fans, etc.).
 
I own this remote to control my DLP, Denon receiver, HD tuner box, lighting and it works like a charm. 2 thumbs to Logitech on this remote. Also, you can do a demo on there site b4 you want to buy this remote.

But, I did take my printout in with this explanation:
I called Circuit City.com and asked them to do a pricematch, they said they couldn't do it on the phone, and told me to take my printout to the nearest store to get the pricematch.

For the $5 coupon, I just asked the guy about the coupon before I asked about the pricematch, got an ok on the coupon first, then asked him to honour it at the end, hence the reason he told me ordinarily they would not do this.

This remote is awesome! My greatest fear is that it will get lost or broken.

I programmed it so it lists all the DVDs in my player, controls everything in my living room (except the darn Bose system, that thing has to go!!!) with one button, and will automatically play a dvd in my sons room, no more searching the house for his remotes. Next, I plan to get IR switches for some lights and the fireplace in the living room, and program it to control the stuff in my bedroom. Then I will not be able to live without this remote.
My husband just laughs at me because I only have to press one button to turn on the tv, change to the right channel, turn on the DVD, and start the movie. When I add the lights to my preset buttons, it will be even cooler. I can hardly wait for some family to visit so I can impress them with my one button capabilities!! All that, and my Roomba going, and mommy gets a little more time to relax at the end of her busy day!!


Now for that HDTV monitor so I can do internet from my couch...
Already got the 30 ft Gyration keyboard and air mouse, never hurts to plan ahead!
 
Thanks! My CC matched the price this morning. The store said that they usually don't match Tiger Direct but that they would make the exception for me today. Great find.
