Logitech G710+ question

I Googled this and don't see anything helpful, does the keyboard support macro switching with the gaming software? I don't know what else to call it, but on my Razer Black Widow, when I ran a program that I had a set of macro keys configured for, it would switch to those macros automatically. It doesn't look like the Logitech supports this, but hopefully I'm wrong here.

The software supports profiles, with a bunch of games available, and the ability to make custom profiles. I don't really use the macros, except in D3 (one button CM wiz >_>), so I don't switch between them, but I am sure it wouldn't have a problem doing it.

but I can't find if it supports auto switching, I know it supports having a ton of profiles, but it's far less useful to me if every time I load a program I have to open the drivers and click on the profile I want.

Hi QueBert,

The Logitech Gaming Software, which the G710+ utilizes, has an option for Automatic Game Detection. In Automatic Game Detection, a game or application profile is bound to the game or applications' executable file. When the game or application is launched, it automatically triggers or activates the profile and the macros or configurations assigned to the profile. I think this is the same with what you refer to as macro switching.

PERFECT thank you daleLogi, there's no official term for what I was looking for. But that's exactly what I wanted to know. Looks like this is about the perfect keyboard for my needs.
