Too bad I'm rocking it out with my G5! 😎 The G series = awesome. I've tried both the G5 and G7, best mice I've used so far.
 
I bought the G7 from a user here when it came out and love it. It was an upgrade from a Logitech MX310 but it's a big difference. $33 is a great price even if it's after rebate.
 
Does anyone know if this is the new (black/silver) or the old (green/silver) model that buy.com is shipping out??
 
g7 is a great mouse, but horrible battery life, you'll only get about 3-4 continuous fps hours with it and about 15-20 hours of regular non gaming use
 
They also have a $50 rebate if you get the G7 and the G15 keyboard ($69.99 before rebate).

This means you get the keyboard for $49.99, a pretty good price.
 
i would keep the mx, I have had 2 g7 and they are the worst (at least for Me due to QC issues) mouse i have used. I dont like the battery life of the g7 either.
 
Are you sure its not the black g7? I searched on buy's site and it seems that this is the only one they carry (there is no seperate item for the black one).
