Although some people called the rebate center and were told TG purchase through Amazon is fine for rebate, I wouldn't count on that. You will only get TG packing slip not Amazon packing slip. $5 more is a much safer bet for rebate.
 
people have called and confirmed with the rebate center that they'll take the rebate from Tiger Direct if it was bought through Amazon

Man, I'm hoping the rebate will work w/ TD! I bought it yesterday from them, through Amazon, and tonight I tried to cancel the TD order but it's already shipped. Who would have thought TD would ship so soon! But TD doesn't let you return non-defective merchandise, and I'm gonna be really pissed if the rebate doesn't work after the rebate center said yesterday that they would accept it. I will probably print out a screenshot of my Amazon orders page, which shows that I ordered the product through them, but from TD.
 
paid about the same for my mx1000 AR. rebate came late, but it did come.

this will be my 4th logi wireless.

I received my order confirmation via email, but when I check my recent Amazon orders.. there are none.

oops, nevermind.. somehow think I have 2 accounts through Amazon.. to the same email address.
