I'd highly recommend the G500; I've bought a G5, G7 and G500 from similar rebate deals over the last 4 years. Personally, I've never had an issue with the rebates from Logitech.

Does anybody who has this one have a problem with (what appears to me as) cramped thumb buttons? They seem kind of small and cramped, easy to hit the wrong one by accident.

Thanks for posting this - I ordered the mouse yesterday and talked to customer service today to see if they could apply this code. They couldn't give me a direct discount, but they gave me a GC good for 90 days for the same amount. That'll work!
 
Was just about to post this...great deal at $26. I just can't stand that they moved the location of the sensor back toward the middle.
