Seems like a decent mouse. Same basic shape as the MX500/MX510/MX518/G5/G500. Has on-the-fly resolution buttons (no software needed) and two thumb buttons.

Nice thing about this mouse is Logitech updated the firmware for the mouse and disabled the angle snapping feature on it. Good for fps games. This mouse is kind of small and it's probably only good for right handed palm grippers. You can claw it but there's going to be a weird slope for your pinky.

I picked one of these up a few weeks ago for my 2nd system in order to have a comparable mouse to the G500 on my main system. There were a few things I was disappointed with. First, the placement of the thumb buttons being harder to reach on the G400, and it has no sidescroll. Also, when coming out of sleep the mouse starts at the lowest dpi for a couple seconds before going to your default setting.

The G400 has a great sensor, and it is properly centered, but if I had it to do over I'd have bought another G500. I'd really like to see a refreshed version of the MX310 with a new sensor, 3 thumb buttons, sidescroll, and keep the pinkey button.
