Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick?

I am looking for a decent joystick to play flying games such as Lock-On: Modern Air Combat, Pacific Fighters, Falcon 4.0 Allied Force, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

Is this Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick any good?

Also, have the calibratiion issues some of the customer reviewers discuss been fixed?

I own 2 of the wireless version of this joystick..love them both...but I do not do flight sims

I like my Saitek Cyborg Graphite.

It works well for BF2, Falcon 4, MSFS, anything really.

If so, any problems using it in an environment with a lot of cordless phones around (e. g. apartment complex)?

Yes

I have a 2.4ghz cordless phone on my desk where I use this joystick and I have never had an issue

Also I use rechargable batteries and while I do not play for hrs at a time..the battery life is good ..even between long intervals between use...

i have one. sadly haven't played 1942/desert combat recently so its gathering dust😛

Regarding the calibration issues I've read about (apparently, everything tending to favor a left turn, producing an exaggerated left turn and inability to make a complete right turn), do others think this is simply due to heavy use if the joystick (i.e. it is essentially wearing out?)
