Logitech Customer support

I emailed tech support about buying a "foot" for my older logitech g15 keyboard.

They said they dont have the foot or the keyboard in stock any more, so they were going to send me a new g510 keyboard.

Next day they called and said the g510 is no discontinued so they are going to send me a g510s.

The ONLY annoyance is that the g510s is 119.99 and any item over $100 requires you to send in your keyboard first before a new one can be sent out. So I have to go buy a 10 dollar keyboard to use for a week, but over all i am VERY satisfied with Logitech customer support

Out of any tech company I've ever dealt with including Apple, Logitech takes the cake for customer service awesomeness.

I had a mouse start doing random double clicks, called them up, they had a new one on its way to me the next day. Never asked for the old one to be sent to them. Love logitech support.

This is disheartening because my Logitech G7 started having issues staying connected (it was wireless) and they repeatedly told me it was due to need to update the firmware... I just bought a mouse from a different vendor. My original g15 lasted forever though. Finally I spilled Sprite on it and the LCD stopped working.

Did you ever try updating the firmware?

Of course I did. I updated, rolled back, and installed earlier firmware, and none of that fixed the problem. I tried to limit all interference that might be causing it. I did what I could, and all Logitech did was repeatedly tell me it was most likely a firmware issue. Research showed others were having the same issues and it pointed to the wireless antenna being defective. Logitech wouldn't help, so gave some other company my money.

Hey never make assumptions, plenty of times I have come across this sort of thing and the guy replies 'no, because i knew that wasn't the problem!'.

Sorry that it went so poorly, but you did what you were supposed to, voted with your wallet.

Finally got it in!
the only annoyance was they actually send me the sub 100 dollar keyboard, when the whole reason I sent my old keyboard in was because they were going to send me the keyboard that was over 100 dollars. Their protocol is you only send in your product if the replacement part is over 100. Oh well.

Your dog looks jealous...I'd make sure the keyboard isn't in any place that he can pee on it when you aren't around. 😉

They do have exceptional customer support.

The cushion on my G35 headsets were starting to peel and fall apart. I email customer support to see if they sell replacements as I couldn't find them anywhere on the website. They got back and asked for my serial number and date of purchase.

Logitech: "Sorry we don't sell replacement for the foam pads but I see your still under warranty. A new pair of headset will be sent out."

ME: "OK cool, thank you!" ...what just happen? 😕

Logitech is overly eager to please.

The feet on my mouse wore out, not even their fault I use a hard mousepad. I asked if they sell replacements and they just shipped me a new mouse. 😵

I went ahead and ordered some replacement feet for $5 from a 3rd party for the next time.

This has always been my experience, if you ever have the slightest problem, they just send you a new one out
