I have an mx510 mouse that I got at xmas. It started acting funny a few months ago and the scroll wheel would not recognize a downward scroll. Everything else was ok. I dealt with it for awhile but it finally started to bother me after using a different working mouse for awhile then returned to this computer and not having a wheel.

I called logitech, was put on hold for about 15 minutes, talked to a csr for another 10 while they determined it was drivers or anything, next thing I know they told me their shipping me a free replacement, and I get to keep this one which is fully functional except the downward scroll!

They are really good about it, just somethimes they don't actually ship it out for 3 months. Other than that they are great to work with.

I had my mx700 break on me and when I called them they said that since they stopped making them they would send me a mx1000 instead since the 3 year warranty was still there.

Needless to say since my brother had the same mouse he now has a extra one laying around... ;)

Ahhh, that news comes in handy. My brother's MX510's left click button recently died on him so being nice ... I bought him a new one and tried to open up the old one and see if I could clean stuff and see if there might be something I could do about it (which I couldn't). Nice to know I can RMA it and get another :)

I agree same with their speakers. If something goes wrong they send you a replacement even after warranty. I'm going logitech when my promedias die :)
