Thanks, I've got to go get one of these. Incidentally, the product code called out in the rebate coupon doesn't match the code on the barcode of the cordless optical. I called the 888 # on the rebate form and the lady there assured me it would work as long as the mouse is cordless.

To make this A LOT EASIER, just print out the rebate form online from CompUSA.com. It is NOT CompUSA specific. Use this with your Best Buy or Office Max purchase of $29.99 and you got the Mouse for $20 without the hassle, but also without the THRILL of Price Matching. Sometimes one just has to go for the gusto of a good Price Match to make one's day.

PS You can get three of these mice per address under this rebate.

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Buy the mouse from Best Buy and then send in for the rebate. Hmmm... $20 after MIR for cordless/optical.... I think I'm gonna do it (I'm currently using the previous generation Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse Special Edition that was ~$13 after MIR from Staples back in the spring of this year). By the way, I could never get the scroll button to scroll like an MS mouse's scroll button scrolls. This is on Windows 2000. Anyone using Windows 2000 get the scroll button to scroll?

Um, there's a slight problem with this deal. Best Buy isn't going to pricematch a post-MIR price ($30). I have the ad in hand and actually used it on Sunday to go to a nearby Best Buy to pricematch it for the $10 instant savings. I didn't bother to ask to pricematch the $10 MIR because that's not their policy and would be ripping them off. So I was able to get it for $39.99 + tax. And I just mailed in the rebate yesterday. Good luck if you're able to get a not so smart cashier/manager to not look at the small print though.

I would like to say for those of you who don't really "need" a cordless mouse, you're better off getting a corded one. The cordless Logitech optical mouse ate my 2 AAA batteries (energizer) in 4 weeks!! The batteries for my previous mouse which comes with the Cordless Desktop, has to be replaced after 3 to 4 months of use.

So make sure you get yourself plenty of AAAs if you jump on this deal.

Does staples carry these? Now, that would be hot, a cordless optical for $20 out the door, $10 after rebate.

Yep, Staples has them!

could anyone post a link to a scan of $10 off $30 please?

(posting a link to a coupon scan is allowed, isn't it?)

The product codes on the web rebate form are for non-optical cordless mice. ilogitech said that the proper form can be found at the store so I guess you need a CompUSA near you to do this deal. If anyone could get a copy of the correct rebate form from the B&M and scan it, that would be cool. Thanks.

Odd, my logitech cordless optical uses AA batteries, not AAA. are there 2 different ones that use different batteries, and which one is this?
