Found this on Fatwallet(posted by DirtCheap), thought Anandtech should benefit too.

Office Max has this for $70, Best Buy has it for like 90 or 100 with a 20 dollar MIR. Pricematch at best Buy to Office Max, get it for 70+tax out the door and then mail in the 20 dollar rebate and it puts it around 50 dollars. Some people say that BB will not honor PMs on their rebates, but nowhere on the rebate reciept says anything about a prime adjustment or match. They also didn't hesitate to give the rebate form to me.

Good luck

Thanks for the heads up! I've been eyeing this mouse for a while and for $49.99 + tax on $69.99 after PM & AR it's too good of a deal to pass up. The mouse is awesome and the keyboard rocks!! I'm actually looking forward to using it to pound out some papers for school this fall!

Now properly credited this is from FW, just like on FW be warned that BB may not honor the mail in rebate if it does a price match.

Yes, KK said that he got the deal from FW and gave proper credit. Regarding the rebate from BB, I've done similar deals with BB several times before and never had a problem. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Also this is the MX Duo not the Elite Duo. Googlegear sells this one for $79 with no rebate. This deal is for $49.99 AR. Once again thanks for the heads up KK!!

There was a really HOT deal a couple months ago with the elite duo, everyone was getting them for like $10 after a PM to Omax and the rebate afterwards, at the time the elite duo was still $100 normally. That post had detailed directions on how to improve your chances of getting BB to do the PM, then get the rebate afterwards as well(I lucked out and got it).

If you want the MX 700, might as well get the keyboard with it as well for the price around $50!

If you have a BB in your area just go there and bring the Officemax ad with you. They will PM before they even know that it has a rebate. The rebate doesn't print until you finish checking out. You shouldn't have a problem.

It was in their weekly flyer, I couldn't even bring it up online using their product code. I think different locations have different flyers also. I'm not sure.

Anyone have a state/city of a flyer that has it? I cannot seem to find it in mine, and I think the PM may still work as long as you bring in the flyer.

A little help please?

*edit*
Never mind, I found it--check Page #8. If it's not in your city, Atlanta, Georgia will work just fine

hehehe HERE to save the day!!

This is what I did and got my MX Duo and a premium tape gun yesterday for $64.00 after taxes.

First, I went HERE for the flyer from the OfficeMax in Houston, TX.. I then called my local OfficeMax to see if they would honor the price of the Houston store and they said that they would. (Print out the ad)

THEN, now it gets tricky, I went HERE for my $15 off $75 purchase from Staples. (Print this out too)

Then, I went to Staple's. I picked out a $10.00 filler item, something I needed (tape gun), to bring the total price of all items up to $75.00. I then went to the check out counter, presented the ad for OfficeMax, got the price match and 10% guarantee, had the cashier ring up the tape gun with it to bring the price up from $66.00 to $75.00, and then I presented the $15 off $75 coupon. (God she was hot too!! ;) )

Long story short:

$69.99 (PM to OfficeMax) - 10% (guarantee) + $10.00 (filler item) - $15.00 ($15 off $75 coupon) = $64.00 (and some change) INSTANTLY with no other rebate required... I'm thinking about doing this a few times and sell the combo at a profit. :)

That would be a YMMV, most staples B&M doesn't take coupons with price match. Lucky you ;)

Officemax doesn't have a rebate. It's $69.99 with no rebate. Your BB should match that price then a $20 rebate will print out from Best Buy.

I printed out the Atlanta OM flyer and brought it into BB in Wisconsin. They called OM, OM said it was an online price, and the wiseass customer service guy wouldnt PM online price. I tried to convince him it was a printout special, but no good.

This one looks to be YMMV, depending on area. BB isn't cool about PMing either.
