iamshady,
This is even hotter, IMHO because it is the "cordless" version of the Elite Duo.
Logictech also makes a corded version of the elite duo (I think).

My only question about this is whether Dell will send the retail package (with the UPC code) or a brown box set.

Recently received the $52.11?? deal from Dell, Dude, and it came in the deluxe wrapper, complete w/upc!:D:D:D (and a 10 or $15 off from Logitech).

Edited:
The box inside the one from Logitech with the UPC contained a brown box. And, it came in a brown box from Dell, Dude.

iamshady,
I think you should modify your header to reflect the "cordless" aspect of this deal.

This is a very good price for this. I picked one up from Dell at $52 as well, and second what RideFree said.

Any idea how long the batteries last on the keyboard? I just got a MX700 from the deal a couple weeks ago and that one lasts about 2 days, then it needs a charge. Does the keyboard burn through batteries fast?

And yes, this keyboard would look sick with my 1800FP and my black klipsch speakers!

I've been using the same set of batteries for a couple months now. Just had to replace the mouse batteries last week. This is using energizers. I may try my rechargeables once I use up this set.

Hello:
 I'm new at this...first time in this forum. This is an excellent deal. I'm pretty clear on everything except the "10% off e-mail coupon". Is this something that Dell sends you for signing up with them? Can someone help?

Thanks, jellyjams

Dell sent out 10% off SB coupons a few days ago, not everyone gets them unfortunately, it's very random. You might be able to score one on the website known for overweight and flatulent wallets.

I've been using the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo for about 4-5 months now. I'm still on the ORIGINAL BATTERIES in the KEYBOARD, but am up to the 5th set of batteries in the mouse.

NOTE: I picked up an MX700 during the BB $16.99AR (PM'd to OM) deal; however, I haven't yet hooked it up. I want to make sure I get my BB MIR.

P.S. iamshady, please change the subject of this thread to:
Logitech CORDLESS Elite Duo ...
(i.e. move the word "CORDLESS" after "Logitech"). That's the correct name of the product, and it'll make it easier to find this thread when searching. Thanks.

Thanks iamshady, still a good deal without the 10% e-mail coupon. Came to $49 and some change after tax and $15 MIR.

Ridefree - thanks, I placed my order. $56.22 (including tax) - $15.00 rebate = $41.22. Plus I should get 2% ($1.12) from ebates.

Thanks iamshady, $57.69 for me. I almost bought the corded keyboard for $30+tax earlier today. Only $10 more if rebate goes through. Just wish the keyboard and mouse had separate stations, I got the MX700 last week from the $16.99 deal. No need for the mouse. Est. Shippping Date: March 19th :(

I have used both and I think the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro is better in a few ways. The microsoft mouse is better designed and seems sturdier. Most importantly for me, the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro has the "natural" split keyboard layout, which I find far more ergonomic than the flat logitech keyboard.

Thanks ! Got on this deal.

Does anyone know how the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo compare against the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro ? Both in terms of functionality and battery life ?

I ordered this afternoon and mine shows a "shipped" status as well. Although no tracking number yet ...

brunswickite - did you get a tracking # ?
