What is the range of these things? How far away can i use my keyboard. Im getting a shuttle mini PC and i want to connect it to my TV and use the keyboard from my couch about 10 feet a way. Will this work? Thanks

Yeah...it'll work. The receiver has a 6 ft cord, so you can put it closer to you. Range is around 6-7Ft.

Hey you guys with the cordless elite duo try this. Mouse your mouse and try also using the keyboard at the sametime. Notice the huge lag when both are used/or notice the pausing that goes on. This is terrible if you are going to move both or use both or tap or click both at the sametime. Games like Counter-strike require both the keyboard and mouse to me used in unison, but this combo just can't do that. I notice this the most is when I hit ctrl + N to open a new browser and at the same time I use my mouse to move up and hit the stop button. The mouse would just freeze there. Also sometimes I would use the scroll wheel but it won't work... The mouse also stops working sometimes. Same with the keyboard, like I would hit 2 to pull out my pistol in Counter-strike but the keyboard won't respond so I keep hitting 2 and on the 5th or 6th try or so the computer will beep at me then after 1 or 2 more hits it will work again.

Might want to try moving the receiver to another spot.

My locel BB manager is just an A$$hole. I never got any PM done thru BB. The reason is: whenever a good deal comes up, from OM, or OD, or CC, it always comes in a way as "Instant rebate" or something similar. I was wondering why they need these fancy terms instead of just advertising "sale price" until I went to BB to PM one day. The manager says BB does not PM any form of rebates. So IR is not matched. I showed him OM flyer with the $59.95 Logitech Duo deal, and he says to him OM price is $99.95, and the price $59.95 is after rebate! I said $59.95 is sale price and is what I pay at OM. He agreed but insiste that is after rebate and BB doesnot PM. That is why they need terms like IR! They use these terms to avoid colusion!

Nope, I tried moving the receiver and also getting the new drivers. I also used the recommended settings of plugging it into the USB and ps/2. Here is another way to test the problem. Move the mouse in circles and keep doing it. Then while you are doing that hit a key or several keys. I see the small pause very clearly. If you rapidly hit keys well, the mouse will just pause on everykey hit. I hold the like 4 keys at the sametime and move the mouse. For me this becomes EXTREMELY laggy for the mouse.

LOL when I first saw this thread, I thought it said 5/27!

Well I hurried to BB lol this morning and got a open box for $90 - $50 rebate. Went back to pricematch OM, got that along with the 110%. So AR I get over $3 for buying this thing.

Moral of story, it's never to late.
