Thanks... I saw it on Bens, but he had the old rebate form up. Thankfully I saw this thread and placed an order right afterwards.

I've had this combo for a year now and I enjoy it except for one flaw---the mouse eats batteries! The Cordless MouseMan Optical goes through a pair of double-A's in 4 weeks time. Logitech was nice enough to send me a free replacement, but the new mouse goes through batteries at the same rate. The KB batteries have lasted for almost a year, but this mouse is a hungry critter!

Oy, same here! Frequent gaming/browsing chews up a pair of batteries about every 2 weeks. Rechargeable batteries are a must with this set.

I thought the same until I read the fine print.

The coupon is in both the San Jose Mercury News and in the San Francisco Chronicle. Where are you going to get the second ORIGINAL UPC???? They both ask for.

(I ordered one for $4.99 AR after using an appliance purchase $30 coupon.)

Here is a Tip ...Place mouse on Plain WHITE paper when not in use, it puts it into sleep mode.

Thanks, but I am using the mouse on white paper. I did that to cure some cursor jitters. Doesn't seem to improve battery usage, at least for me.

I'm worried about the power hungry mouse! :( I just wish Amazon will drop the price on the MX Duo.

Buy.com also has this as their deal of the day. $32.99 shipped after rebate, if anyone is interested. I think that Amazon would get it to you faster, though.
