Is there ANY lag associated with either the mouse or keyboard? Even when battery power is low?

I found that the software that came with the keyboard and mouse is useless. When i go to change batteries i would have to restart because no matter how many times i hit the connect button it wouldn't connect back to it and sometimes when i restarted the computer it wouldn't do it either. The mouse and keyboard are great but i wouldn't use the logitech software that goes along with it. Maybe you could use the software for the keyboard and not the mouse becausei mostly had problems with the mouse.

Is anybody else concerned this rebate is not listed on the Logitech web site, and that when you call the number on the rebate form they say they have no record of this rebate? Seems strange.

The rebate is valid. Just called the 877 number. Took me 5min to talk to a live person. Gave the promo #(02-51766). And the rep confirmed that its $20 for the Cordless Elite Duo. I was also worried that this was a scam when I went to rebates web site and found no info. The rep said that not all the rebates are up on their web site. Anyway hope that helps.

great. i couldn't wait for the rep.. had to run to class ;) even w/o the rebate, it's a pretty nice price.

btw, there's a $10 rebate on the mx700 from that site. Problem is, they specifically say (for both rebates actually) none of the big B&M stores (staples, best buy, etc). If i can get the mx700 @ <= $30, i will be a happy man (altho broke...)

I just got mine today! Freakin amazin! I'm so happy....


HOWEVER

my keyboard doesn't allow me to 'repeat' keys... like if i hold down backspace or something! Is there a setting for this? Please say yes someone. I can't find the setting...


Now the combo's that I win on the 20th can be used as gifts;)

these iTouch buttons are sweet too. AIM and outloook are pre-programmed. its sweet

Wow... ordered and delivered to my door within 24 hours. On point.

Now, what do I use as a receipt for the rebate? There was only a packing slip in the box. Should I use that or a printout of my email order confirmation or both?

Wait, so how is this offer valid for ANY purchase location? I thought the rebate form said "Rebate offer NOT valid at: Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, CompUSA, Circuit City, and Fry's Electronics".....

Just plugged it in and this is quite an impressive piece. I love the multimedia controls.
Now, as for the repeating, mine seems to work fine. I don't see anything about this in the options so try to shake up the keyboard or something.

Did you get a receipt in your box or just the packing slip like me?

Does anyone here find a problem with the scroller, like the fact that it doesnt give a option to scroll by 2 lines. Im used to the microsoft mouse, and the ability to scroll by 2 lines. Ill be in winamp going through folders of mp3s, and itll skip the 3 lines(because I set it to scroll by 3 lines because setting it to 1line is WAY TOOO SLOW), and go from A to C... Getting aggrivating. Maybe im missing a option, but I want the ability to scroll through folders one screen at a time(2lines at a time). Fill me in if you have a remedy to this.

BTW: I have the newest version of the mouseware software.

Well I mean that I called them up through that 877 number and waited for a rep to pickup. I then asked them about the terms and conditions of the rebate after telling them the promo#. I specifically asked them if this offer was limited to any purchase location in particular. They told me that there aren't any when she pulled it up on the computer so I'm pretty sure this rebate should be good whether you buy it from staples or from buy.com

decent range, between 6 and 12 feet depending on obstructions.

Does anyone have this problem: My keyboard won't repeat keys. If i hold down a key, for example, it won't repeat it. Any ideas?

Also, i've been getting some wierd things happen with the scroll on the mouse, i.e. several windows will scroll at the same time, or none will at all...
