Buy.com has a deal on

Logitech Cordless Desktop MX Bluetooth Keyboard and Optical Mouse

on sale for $99.99 with free shipping

with no rebates to worry about

If there's no coupon on this, why aren't you posting a link?

Are we supposed to go to YOUR SITE or find hot deals here?

Exactly my point.

Is the deal at http://www.Buy.com or is there a direct link to the deal?

Thanks for linking!

If the OP knows there's a deal there, obviously he (or she) knows the direct link to it, so why not post the direct link?

So nobody minds if I post a few deals without links, but post a few of my friends' websites where the links would be found in my sig file?

I just wanna be absolutely clear on the policy before i get banned for advertising a few sites and not posting direct links.

Someone knows if this is better than "Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite for Bluetooth" ???

also, anyone use it with the bluetooth in the sony vaio s series laptops? tia!

If you can use bluetooth, then go for it. A lot of people don't have a bluetooth adapter. Also, I've heard that the batteries in the logitechs last a LOT longer than microsoft. But, I don't use either, so I'm just going by ear.

The guy said "@ buy.com" in the first post. If somebody posts the site it's at, then you don't need a direct link. That's all you need to know. Just mention where it's found, and you can put whatever you want in your sig.

Great keyboard, but why pay extra for bluetooth? The non'bluetooth version is just as good if not better, and you can get it any day for $55 shipped from justdeals.com.

why do you gotta pay extra for the bluetooth? The mouse charger is the bluetooth hub. This is essentially the same keyboard/mouse setup as the Elite Duo w/ mx700 wireless mouse except one is bluetooht one is not.

Was wondering if this bluetooth one will have a better range then the regular wireless set?
Heard that the regular has half the range of the bluetooth one, anyone can confirm that?

I think you pay extra because this Bluetooth hub can be used with other Bluetooth devices (phones, headsets, Palms, etc.), something the regular RF version obviously can't do.

Of course, if you have internal Bluetooth, the hub just becomes a really expensive charging station for the mouse. Ah well.

I really want just this mouse, but I haven't seen any deals on it in a long time. I have the MX700 and really like it, but my new PowerBook has internal Bluetooth, so I want to upgrade and be able to take the mouse with me.

Yes, much better range, and goes through walls great.
Logitech RF sucks. With the three RF unit's I've owned, 3 to 7 ft was the best they would do.
Have had no problems using this Bluetooth version with HTPC from 2 rooms away, or about 30 ft away through walls.

EDIT:
Just checked out specs at Logitech.
RF keyboard/mice range is less than 6 ft.
Bluetooth range is 30 meters or about 90 ft.
