Login management using Excel or other software

I am curious if anyone is aware of a template for excel or any other program (preferably open source) that will allow effective management of user logins.

This is a list of the basic functionality I am looking for

-login tracking
-login expiration notifications (I need notification as to when the login is going to expire)

Basically I need it to allow me to keep track of the logins and to inform me if there are any that are about to expire.

If anyone knows of anything that has this functionality, recommendations would be appreciated.

Actually it is for various programs that each have a specific login that has to be unique for each user. Thanks for the link though.
I'm still looking if anyone has some recommendations.

For each of the programs there is a known amount of time until that login will expire. Excel or the program will need to tell me when this time is about to arrive.

For example, login A is valid for 3 months. since its creation 2 months and three weeks have passed. Because excel or the program is set up to inform me when there is one week before it expires the login will be listed separately from the rest or highlighted in some way.

Have a look at KeePass password safe, you can keep all your passwords and enter an expiration date for each. It has options to display expired passwords and soon to be expired passwords when you open the file.

Thanks for the reply snapster, I will take a look at the software tonight when I get a chance. More suggestions are still welcome 🙂
