1. What is it?

2. Does Fermi HW support it via opengl?

3. could DX11 hardware easily emulate it via shaders?

4. If number 3 is yes, then how much would the performance impact with AA be?
 
OpenGL has had the ability to apply logical operations to textures, if that's what you're looking for.
