Just got back from my grandmothers funeral. It was a very simple affair luckily and more moving that I thought it would be at first.

Fell a little guilty that I am happy actually. I've got about 2 bottles of wine in me and the next 2 days off which is nice but I was just back from my grandmothers funeral after all. I guess I was never that close to her.

We had our own family Christmas today. Both me and my mother work retail so it never works out that we can celebrate Christmas on Christmas day so we have gotten into the habbit of doing our own Christmas early whenever we have the time.

I bent my wookie.

Dropped my venerable Nintendo DS which I use every too and from work to pass time. Broke the hinge. Still works but it's fragile now. Oh well it was one of the old style gray clam shell ones. Going to be getting the 3ds when it comes out anyway. Really boring post I know

We already held our family Christmas. My mother and I work retail, our hours are all over the place so it often works out to be more convenient to celebrate Christmas early. I already have everything that I could want really so I just asked for cash if they wanted to give me anything. I got 300 bucks. Will probably use it to get myself a 3DS when it comes out. Or some computer hardware.
