Yeah !

i just used some 2 year old Cephalexin to treat a mild case of pneumonia.

instead of paying about that same amount for 2 doctor appointments, a
chest X-ray, and lab tests.

locksmiths more expensive than doctors ?! My God !
 
wow sounds like a rip off i got locked out last month and my friend gave me a number and i paid only 150 he drilled the lock and put in a new one. his number was 347 803 3965...btw does any one know the name of cheap plumber?

wow that sounds like a rip off. i clogged my toilet with a huge dookie last month and my friend gave me a number...you should call 402 553 5523 ... they drill out your pipes and put in new ones. all they have to do is rip your walls appart completely. it will only cost probably $3k or $4k. btw does anyone know the name of a cheap hooker?

I don't deny it. I forget everything! My old apartment door automatically locked behind me. I would always forget my keys, so I started carrying a key in my wallet. Then there were the days that I forgot my wallet, so I would have to go to the backup-backup key.

I bet Sarah's buddy just happens to have an office right across the street from every major locksmith company in the city. Except that they don't, because that office they claim to have is actually a bus depot. And even though yellow pages shows there are 300 locksmiths, 298 of them are the same company that do exactly what OP complained about (overcharge then use physical intimidation to force you to pay). This is a huge, growing scam market.

Same thing happened to me (although not as drastic). Locked the keys in my car. Ahole locksmith quoted $65, then ended up charging $105.

That is pretty outrageous, but there's certainly nothing illegal about it. They could charge a million bucks per job, and it wouldn't be illegal - and they'd only need one customer every couple of years. 😉 lol
