Locking out Internet Explorer

I need to block access to the internet on just one of my computers.
All use Win XP and are on cable modem through a router....is there any way to block just one computer using win XP settings??

You can stop Internet Explorer from accessing the internet by setting a dummy proxy server as detailed in the following article:

How to Lock-In Web Addresses on Internet Explorer 5

You may want to restrict access to the Internet Options once you have made these changes so that they cannot be easily undone.

You could mess with the host file so nothing gets resolved. But that would kill all internet access on the computer
