So my club (college club) has a shared 'lounge' for members (My club and one other share 'ownership' -- it has a keycode locked door, but that code gets out pretty easily. Still, there has never been a major problem with theft or anything....
Anyway, the other club wants to put in a bank of lockers and rent them out as a fundraiser, splitting the profits with us. That sounds fine on paper, but I am concerned about liability. If someone busts into the lockers and empties them, who pays? Do we need to be insured?
As the president of my club, I could pretty much say 'no', but we're in a funding crunch so it's worth considering.
Anyway....what does AT think, how liable would we be? Is it just a stupid idea?
