Before Obama (No MLK) went on vacation he signed an executive order mandating a tactical government wide push to leverage job opportunities against whites (or heterosexual whites is better description). With the usual superficial blather, the order talks of creating a "model" of diversity (the radical left's Trojan horse). Of course thats meaningless since minorities are already represented.

Keep in mind the finance "reform" (lol) bill and health-care bill were also stocked full of Trojan horse tactical diversity hiring provisions, Indeed, Maxine Waters had large role in shaping the finance reform bill and its been described as the ACORN finance reform bill.

"President Obama’s new order instructs federal agencies to design new strategies for hiring, promoting and keeping workers of “diverse” backgrounds. The diversity the government is seeking is not diversity of ideas, outlooks or work experiences. In contemporary political parlance, “diversity” refers primarily to the color of one’s skin and not the content of one’s character. The executive order says the federal government “must create a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility and fairness to enable individuals to participate to their full potential.” In the name of “fairness,” however, the government will intensify programs that discriminate against white Americans by extending special privileges to everyone else. The order also says that “attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service,” though merit and ability are not the metrics of choice when measuring success in diversity-driven career programs...

A quick look at the demographic breakdown of the federal payroll shows that “diversity” goals have been more than met. According to the Office of Personnel Management, federal employees in fiscal 2010 were 66.2 percent white, 17.7 percent black, 8 percent Hispanic, 5.6 percent Asian and Pacific Islander and 1.8 percent American Indian. Compared to the general U.S. population, the federal force is a bit too diverse. Blacks are overrepresented by 6.9 percent compared to the civilian work force, Asians and Pacific Islanders by 1.2 percent, and American Indians are more than double their proportion of the population at large. White Americans, who make up about 70 percent of the work force, are underrepresented by around 4 percent. "

Pat Buchanan had a more interesting breakdown of gov agencies:

"Because not only are African-Americans disproportionately the beneficiaries of federal programs, from the Earned Income Tax Credit to aid for education and student loans, they are even more over-represented in the federal workforce than they are on state payrolls.

Though 10 percent of the U.S. civilian labor force, African-Americans are 18 percent of U.S. government workers. They are 25 percent of the employees at Treasury and Veterans Affairs, 31 percent of the State Department, 37 percent of Department of Education employees and 38 percent of Housing and Urban Development. They are 42 percent of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., 55 percent of the employees at the Government Printing Office and 82 percent at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency."

Content of character and native ability takes a backseat with Obama and the bitter insurgency hiding behind racist diversity programs.

You just used 519 words and couldn't manage to post a single detail of the program you are ranting about. I'm convinced.

Obviously you didn't care to use the link so you're not my target audience anyway.

As for details, Obama typically doesn't provide any. You get the usual deceptive, political fart-speak Obama emits when he wants to sound faux-noble when his actual intent is to screw someone/something.

"President Obama issued an executive order yesterday titled, “Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.” It’s quite vague, extolling the value of diversity without defining it, and setting up a “government-wide initiative” for “all agencies” that will “develop and issue a Government-wide Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan.” Details later, and the devil, of course, will be in the details"

No, when somebody posts a significant excerpt I generally give them the benefit of the doubt that they have selected the most germane, compelling piece of the article. I am sorry I overestimated your posting abilities.

I never said I thought your post was likely to be incorrect, only that it was a steaming pile of crap rhetorically.

Cool - I already had you pegged as a person who cherishes form over substance. No doubt Obama is your hero (giggles)

My objection was specifically about substance. And yes, ask anyone here on P&N how I fawn over Obama. I would kiss his chocolate starfish if only I could be so lucky.

Race simply shouldn't be considered for federal jobs. With that said, 4% under representation is hard to get bent out of shape about.

Speaking of NBA players... in a suburb of New York where a lot of pro NY players live, HUD (Housing and Urban Development) is trying to force communities in the county deemed "too white" to build cheap housing just for minorities. They defame the mostly white communities as 'segregated" despite the fact that anyone black etc with money can (and do) move into the communities.

This is just another example of criminalizing anything deemed "too white" by the class and race embittered left - who then attack their target (the rich, whites etc) under the guise of false virtues "diversity..fairness" etc. There is nothing fair about these types

HUD Plays Hardball With Westchester County

http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2011/07/15/hud-plays-hardball-with-westchester-county/

ACORN used the similar diversity tactic against banks when under the Clinton regime ACORN and other radically inspired groups were given power over local banks licesnes. The banks had to meet "suggested" quotas of minority lending (even if unqualified) or pay ACORN's piper.

The same tactic is being laid out by the FCC. The FCC dropped the Fairness Doctrine because it wants to use diversity tactic against broadcasters. Local broadcasters would be subject to the same local cadres of anti "rich", anti-white, anti-religion (ie pro gay) etc types who want to use diversity as a way to bully their way to influence. Obama put people in FCC who have praised Chavez for taking over media outlets.

The biggest racists around are found pushing diversity tactics under the false goal of "fairness" - unfairness is what they really want. Obama is one of them.

So, according to Mr. Buchanan African-Americans are as significantly under-represented in the civilian work force as they are over-represented in government employment.
I also note that if African-Americans so heavily dominate the agencies he cites, they must be almost nonexistent in other government agencies to comprise such a relatively small portion of the total.
Does Mr. Buchanan note to which agencies African-Americans currently need not apply?

I have a hard time taking Pat Buchanan seriously. That being said the feds do love their affirmative action programs, and affirmative action is unquestionably racist.

Attention government... It's 2011. Slavery is over. African americans have successfully integrated into all areas of the american society.

Those who choose to live outside of society and not work or anything do so by choice. Those who fall short of established job requirements are probably not qualified for those particular jobs.

K thanks.
