Same here. This board has gone to middle school content.

Seems to me that more threads need to be locked and/or more people receiving vacations/warnings.

Anyway, it says in the faq or some other hard to find place that locked threads are left there for a reason: so that others can see the type of threads that result in getting locked.

Not that anyone here has ever learned that.

Many threads are locked these days for no earthly reason. I think the mod feels pressured to lock something every now and then to fill a quota. Too much random lockage.

They're a lot more fun to read than deleted threads. Like a couple of days ago, the "asshole" mod must have been on and deleted two of the threads I was participating in because the topics were similar to--not the same as--another existing thread. Obviously, I was pissed that what I wrote was gone. They really should have been locked, not deleted, as there was nothing offensive. I was thinking of calling that mod out--seeing how long the ban would last. But instead, I went to bed.

Looks a little like I'm calling him out now, huh? It's not like I really care about this kiddy playground anymore.

If they're on the first page I'll usually click on them to see what happened but I don't go looking for them.

I wonder how this thread will fare. All threads about "why was my thread locked" get locked. Is that why it is hidden in this one instead?

Yeah, no kidding...I think I've only posted like, two threads ever...and the parody thread I posted last week just vanished without warning...

Speaking of which...anyone else surprised this thread is still not locked/here?
