Your title "Question 1 on MA ballot" would seem to fall into the political realm for the election in Mass.

Is it a question on the ballot?
Ask the Mods for an explanation if it is not a political issue.
If it is a political issue, ask them to move it to P&N and unlock it.

When I used to live in Mass, nothing was able to be sold on Sunday - made a nice trade for NH. Then the laws were ammeneded to allow the border towns to sell on Sunday.

You could try asking Shaw's. Link.

I did ask and they never gave me an answer. Infact, my gf used to work there and the store manager never really understood how they were able to do so either. All I know is that they were pretty close not being able to sell it at one time. Right now, they are actually more strict on carding than any liquor store is (you must show ID even if you look 100) and all new employees have to go through training on how to detect a fake ID.
